NCEP now has the change to the flagged station list ready to go, but today has been declared a critical weather day due to Hanna, making it essentially impossible to implement new codes unless an error is causing actual model failures (the KLRD data is causing poor analyses, not failures). As a result, the change to the operational RUC will not go in until Monday, and users looking at analyses over south Texas should bear in mind that bad Laredo dew point data is still being analyzed by the model.
