Steve,  Thanks for pointing this out. The 19z sfc temp analysis showed erroneous values of > 90 F in Manitoba -- that is something wrong. Over Rhode Island, it seems like the 3.5 KM PBL depth could have been correct. At 19z, the actual ob was 90 F in Providence. We'll investigate the other problem and report back.
