Phil,  Good question. The 20km RUC will include station BUFR files w/ hourly output from the entire forecast, in addition to the current nasty files w/ all stations for a single output time. The output variables have been updated a bit to reflect at least the same variables in the Eta BUFR, as well as some of the ones unique to the RUC (e.g, cloud hydrometeor variables).  I moved your message to the 20km forum at http://ruc.fsl.noaa.gov/forum/eval20 instead of the 40km forum where you posted and answered it on the 20km forum.   Good to hear from you again.
